Description: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a type of scan that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body. MRI uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within the body. An MRI scan uses a large magnet, radio waves, and a computer to create a detailed, cross-sectional image of internal organs and structures. This application allows to display different MRI scans and to browse into the different slices through a virtual reality environment.
Review: ‘MedicalImagingVR’ is one of those apps that is useless to 99.99% of all us VR users. But to that 0.1% it will be a great use of VR technology and something they will use a lot. In short, it takes 3D MRI scans and turns them into something you can pick up, hold, rotate, layer and do all sorts of crazy things with and even upload your own MRI data scans and view them. As I said, for most of us this will seem pointless, but to someone out there it will be a great program with lots of applications moving forward.
