Review: I think it goes without saying that when I heard a Medal of Honor game was coming to VR I was pretty excited about it. So we ended up with ‘Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond ‘ and while I was indeed disappointed, it is not as bad as some people are making out. The main problem with this game is the bugs. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but what it never does is look amazing. In fact, it looks like it was made for the PS2 rather than a high-end PC! However, let the poor quality graphics go and get into the game and as long as it is stable you will get into it and it is indeed a VERY big game. In fact, the more you go on the better the graphics seem to get as well.
The main problem is the price of the experience relating to the overall quality of the experience. If it was just £20 or less more people would have loved it, but it doesn’t, it costs £44.99 and that is a big chunk of change. In fact, I don’t think I could recommend this at that price. But you can always wait for a sale and trust me, this is a game well worth owning, in fact, it’s pretty amazing. But it’s not AAA amazing, it’s not £44.99’s worth amazing.
