Review: I always find it hard to moan about free educational apps like ‘Materials VR’ because if this app was used in the right setting it might have some educational value to it. But from a perspective of me, the average Joe playing it and seeing what it is all about, the app is pointless. There is no educational material here, nothing to learn and all of it in a weird oversized environment. It’s not as if the virtual classroom looks good because it really doesn’t. But someone, somewhere will enjoy using this and showing other people what it is all about. That person wasn’t me and I can’t recommend it even if it is free. With only 5 molecules to look at, most people will struggle to find anything worth downloading here.
