Review: Lunar Flight is pretty much what it’s name suggests. It is a simulation of a lunar lander and you will be flying around, doing various tasks as you explore (retrieval, surveying and transportation). You do these missions because that is your job and you get cash rewards for doing it, then with the money, you can upgrade your lunar lander to a true beast of the moon’s sky.

With some very impressive graphics, real space physics, an online time trial mode and a total of 51 unlockable Achievements, there is a lot to love about this game. It also has to be said that it is pretty easy to get to grips with, after just an hour or so gameplay I was flinging my lunar lander around like it was a rally car(only in space). What you notice most about Lunar Flight is just how realistic everything looks and indeed feels. OK, so it is probably nowhere near as complicated as flying a real lunar lander, but I would imagine it feels pretty close which also helps to make this game at times deeply immersive. But yet. there is also a fun element to this game with makes it such a joy to play, it’s not all serious simulation like others that have gone before it has been. If you have ever wanted to be a lunar astronaut this is the perfect game for you.
