Review: If you like your games to give you a tough challenge you should give ‘Lockdown: Stand Alone’ a go. This all-action shooter sees you taking down some of the fastest and most ruthless monsters you will ever see. Even of the first level, I died 20+ times and I have no idea how big or long the game is as I simply couldn’t get that far! Yes, it is very hard, but not in a good way. Maybe it is the terrible graphics and explosions that make the game so unplayable, but I personally put it down to terrible gameplay mechanics. I know for sure that some people will love this games relentless action and over the top difficulty, but I wasn’t one of them. I certainly wouldn’t pay £7.99 for this, but then again it’s not like you are going to finish it in a few hours.
