Review: I have found this to be a tougher review than I first thought. You see, Loading Human: Chapter 1 is a game that looks fantastic and has a storyline that will keep you interested till the end, leaving you begging for the release of Chapter 2! Having played the PSVR version I pretty much knew what I was expecting so even the high levels of nausea didn’t put me off playing through this game. What did put me off was that this is the same version as the PSVR including the note of going “out of bounds” whenever I do anything but face forward! While that is needed on the PSVR its not needed on the Rift and to be honest it really aggravated me to the point I stopped playing the game! Maybe playing it yourself it won’t bother you, but it did myself.
So is it worth buying? I would suggest waiting for a sale, get this for half price and you might be more inclined to work through the poor controls, horrible “out of bounds” notifications and stomach crippling nausea. If you can survive this games fatal flaws, there is an epic adventure waiting for you all driven by a great storyline and fantastic voice narration and guidance.
