Description: Welcome to the LightStrike VR Arena, where you face challenges that are out to destroy you before you can destroy them. Players stand on GamePads floating high above the future world surface. Stepping off a GamePad is sure death.
The controllers are simple enough – a Shield and a Disk. Use your Disc to inflict damage to your opponent by flinging it at them and making contact. Your Shield can be used to block incoming opponent disks. Score points by striking your opponent. The player that survives, wins. Activate a Disk, by pulling the trigger of your controller. This will turn your Shield into a weapon. Throw your Disk when you release the trigger.
Review: I’m sure that once upon a time ‘LightStrike’ would have been worth playing. The game itself is a Tron style disc game in which you need to kill the other person by throwing the disc at them as fast as you can or rebound it off the wall. Its quick, action-packed and a lot of fun! Well…that what it might be if you could play the game, but this is an online or local multiplayer game only. This means with no players, this game is as good as dead! I suppose £2.79 isn’t a lot so you could get a friend to buy it as well, but unless you are doing that I wouldn’t bother downloading this.
