Description: Layers of Fear VR is a psychedelic horror game that pulls you into the depths of insanity. Now the critically acclaimed terror brings its constantly changing Victorian mansion to a tangibly horrifying Virtual Reality. Delve deep into the mind of an insane painter and discover the secret of his madness. Uncover the visions, fears and horrors that entwine the painter and finish the masterpiece he has strived so long to create.
Review: It is clear from the moment you start to play ‘Layers of Fear VR’ that it is little more than a port of the 2D flat-screen game. It even has the aim dot in the middle of your eye view which is annoying AF! However, I did manage to find a setting to turn that off. Also, some of the game’s interactions are a little off, but overall I was still quite happy with my purchase. Its an adventure horror game in which you will be solving puzzles and learning the storyline as you go along and it does hold your attention for a good while. I finished the game in just over 4 hours which does justify the high £15.49 asking price, especially with the overall quality of the game. But grabbing it in a sale is still advised as I suck at this type of game, so I can see other people finishing it a lot quicker than I did.
