Description: Enter surreal computer generated worlds and do battle with the mighty KOTH. Climb to the top of the map to defeat it but don’t be caught in its deadly radar beam. Inspired by the 8 bit classic “The Sentinel” and re-imagined for VR, KOTH is written with full support for the HTC VIVE as well as standard PC mode using keyboard and mouse. If using VR, this game is best played standing and requires a tracked controller.
Review: KOTH is a modern-day version of the retro classic The Sentinel and while many will be instantly put off by its retro graphics I promise you it is way more fun than you might think. You need to avoid the “Koth” and its beam while trying to get to the top of a mountain. While this doesn’t seem all that exciting if you let yourself get into the game a little you will start to enjoy it.
Even if I did enjoy it I am not going to recommend you try it at the full asking price of £4.99. Paying half-price or less for this will give you the motivation to try it and then even if you don’t like it as much as I did you haven’t paid a lot for it. This is just one of those games you will love or hate, but only by trying it will you know for sure.
