Description: In a twisted world best described as ”a miniature cardboard city turned into a malicious science experiment”, you find yourself captured against your will by an oddly charming but mysterious YouTuber that goes by the name “Sven” in the deadly city of Kartong. Your life now depends on mediocre office supply-weapons and your every move is being filmed for his YouTube enjoyment – a truly odd experience, all wrapped up in challenging stealth/FPS gameplay. And oh, did we mention that you’re shrunk to the size of a toilet paper roll? Yes, you’re small… very small.
Review: If you fancy playing something original and unique you might want to give Kartong – Death by Cardboard! a chance. Its a range of genres from action, to first-person shooter and there is even a bit of stealth thrown in for good measure. You play the game as a tiny person exploring mazes looking for a special cog. Once you have this said cog you can use it to move onto the next level. The mazes themselves are procedurally generated which does give the game some good replay value. While some people won’t like how repetitive the game gets I for one think it is worth the current £10.99 asking price. Sometimes it’s nice to play something new and different and this game is certainly that.
