Description: You are from the city of Tankograd, working in a research lab as a “junior science officer” on next-generation equipment. Your wife is a school teacher and your son goes to kindergarten. At your “NII ResearchLabs” every employee is required to collect as many potatoes from the vast borderless potato fields, in order to help comrades having it worse than you. Your job is to feed with the world with potatoes. Having access to unique VR equipment you’ve found a super-efficient way to control potato gathering equipment remotely and increase potato production 1 000 000 000 fold. You decide to be the first test subject, and after being hooked up to the machine, you are sucked inside, becoming one with the Kartofank system. And now your journey begins…

Review: I’ve played some pretty weird VR games in my years of doing these reviews, but I have to say ‘Kartofank VR’ is one of the weirdest I have seen so far. It some sort of music rhythm game in which you need to mash good potatoes and avoid bad potatoes. If you think the game sounds crazy the visuals will make you think you are having some sort of drug-induced trip! There is a few good tracks to move along with and while everything is incredible basic the game is still fun to play. I don’t think I would want to pay any more than the current £1.59 asking price, but for that price, I think this is worth a go. Just be prepared for something weird and fun, but very little else.
