Review: There are countless basketball hoop score games out there and some are pretty good and others are truly terrible. The good news is ‘JUST HOOPS’ tries something new and ends up winning…but only just. Unlike almost all other games in the same genre ‘JUST HOOPS’ brings realistic physics to the table and the results are rather interesting. There will be no picking the ball up with one hand here, but have to grip it between two hands and you can indeed throw it just as you would in real life. But make no mistakes, this is still an arcade game, so the emphasis is on fun and it has several theme basketball arcade machines for you to try.

This game is both original and tiresome at the same time and the realistic physics do take a good while to get used to. But if you are willing to knuckle down and learn the control and movement of the ball you can soon find yourself score chasing and that is where the longevity comes into it. It doesn’t have a lot of content, but what there is looks polished and can be fun, but I feel many people will be left feeling frustrated with it and quit before the fun factor starts to kick in.
