Review: You get to train in 4 job roles: Mechanic, Chef”, Store Clerk and a run of the mill Office Worker. Each job has its own challenges and interactive environments. The idea is then to do the best you can at each job. Be it making burgers or fixing things. While the list of jobs and the work you have to do is small the possibilities of this game are still endless. Do you want to put something nasty in someone’s food? Then go ahead, you want to throw things at your box, then knock yourself out! While it is a game with goals at heart it is best to just have fun with it rather than see it as a game with end goals.
Job Simulator is one of the first games that was made exclusively for VR and because of this, it feels amazingly realistic despite its cartoon style graphics. I would have liked to have seen more jobs brought to the PSVR version, but it was not meant to be it seems. The game is nothing short of ridiculously fun and oddly satisfying, but it also lacks replay value. Don’t just download this game because it is fun to play (which it is), but download it to show people just how much VR a game that is specially made for VR can be.
