Review: Before getting into this review I feel it is worth noting that I REALLY like my platform games. While the days of big platform titles like Super Mario are pretty much over little indie games like ‘JETBOUNCE’ still fill me with happiness. I am telling you this because that is what this game is, it is a platform exploration game in which you will be looking for puzzle pieces and gems with the help of a jetpack (and a few other tools). While the core gameplay is fun the rest of the game somehow feels lacking. The graphics need sharpening, the textures look out of place and the music is sometimes non-existent making the game feel empty and cold.
For me, it is the lack of content that really puts me off giving this game a Gold award, but the amount of fun I had playing it still means I will give it my recommendation. It’s just too overpriced without enough spit and polish at the moment, but if you love your platform games as much as I do I say this is still worth a look.
