Description: Ironlights is a VR dueling game with skillful, fluid melee combat. Parry, block, and strike down your opponents using a variety of physics-based weapons. Test your skills in multiplayer battles, or fight to the top of the league in the huge single-player campaign!
Review: It is not often I will ever say this, but ‘Ironlights’ is a game best played in single-player mode rather than multiplayer, even when there are still quite a few people playing this. When I was playing against the AI it the action felt great with each hit and swing of my sword being a strategic move, each battle felt like just that, a fight to the death and it was great. But that doesn’t really happen in the multiplayer game as it ends up being rock, paper or scissors style gameplay, only at high speed and that is no fun at all. But having said that this game is not worth paying £14.99 for the single-player content, so I can’t really win with it. It looks good and is really well made, but sadly some players just want to be arseholes and it ruins the game. Maybe pick it up for pennies once everyone else has left.
