Description: “I Love Baseball” lets every baseball lover live in their own Field of Dreams. Good aim and timing will give your team the win. Attempt to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher with a bat swung by the batter, then running counter-clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third, and home plate. A run is scored when a player advances around the bases and returns to home plate.

Review: Yet again we are batting the VR ball into the world of Baseball, only this time with the proud title “I Love Baseball”. With two game modes, one a quiz that will only be for USA Baseball fans, the other is a simple baseball game style where you have to hit the ball as far as you can by swinging with perfect timing, hopefully hitting it out of the park for a homerun. Then as you try and run from first base to home base you need to look at each plate to make your player run.

The characters remind me of classic Sega Baseball, or possible Jikkyo Powerful Pro Baseball 4 on the classic Nintendo 64 and the graphics are not much better at all. But it does have to be said that each little tune or musical compliment seems to suit the game perfectly. There has been some real effort put into this little game and you can easily tell.

There is something similar to classic Sega about this game, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. The looks, the music even the gameplay somehow feels familiar. I can’t quite put my finger on why I like this game, but I do! I just wish it had a multiplayer mode, better crowd graphics and even more gameplay options. But if you are looking for some baseball fun in VR, you can do far worse than buying this.
