Description: Horizon of History is an educational VR experience that will take you on a journey through the ages. It’s a virtual time machine that will teleport you between key periods of the history of Poland’s capital city – Warsaw. You will see Warsaw’s panorama as it was in 11th, 14th, 16th centuries and after it’s total destruction during the Second World War up until today.
Review: We all know a big part of VR’s future lays in its use by the education sector and this app shows why. It might well be a complicated story of the history of Warsaw, but this app does a good job of coving the basics of it, all the while keeping things interesting with interactive elements and even some mini-games. But I will say the narrator’s voice was a little bland and I don’t think I could have stuck much more than the 20 mins or so it takes to finish this app. I feel £3.99 is a little overpriced for this, but if you have an interest in the history of the Capital of Poland maybe take a look at this anyway. This is VR education, done the right way.
