Review: ‘Home Plate Baseball’ is your typical VR baseball game which is mostly about the batting, but in this game, there is at least an Umpire mode to test your skills at as well as a catching mode than you can unlock. The main batting games are ‘3 innings Baseball’ and Homerun Derby. What will put a lot of people off getting this game is the poor quality graphics. With a flat 2D audience and minimalistic sound effects, this game is as indie as they get. If you ask me there are far better baseball games to spend your £3.99 on (with Everyday Baseball VR being one of the best). If you got this super-cheap it might keep you playing for a little while, but I simply can’t recommend it at full-price even if you are a huge baseball fan.
