Description: HOLOCEPTION is a new type of hybrid VR game allowing you to incarnate a character in 3rd and 1st person view. Explore a cartoonish Universe where everything is fully physics-based and where you have a lot of control and freedom to move and fight!
Review: Holoception is an odd sandbox game indeed. You play the game as a stickman, but not in the first-person style, you play as some sort of puppet master just behind the character. This does take a little getting used to, but once you do get the hang of it, it’s pretty good fun. The good news is for those who can’t get used to this 3rd person mode you can always go back to the classic 1st person mode. The gameplay is good as well with on-point collision detection and some good slow-downs to get the maximum satisfaction from your hits and shots.
When it comes to content and value for money it is not such a straight forward thing. The problem is the game probably has enough content to justify the rather high £15.49 asking price, but being a sandbox action game the lack of missions and other goals will soon see you getting bored and not wanting to unlock all the content the game offers. While I am going to suggest that it is worth the asking price I would definitely give the demo a go before you pay for the full game. That way you will know if it is for you or not.
