Description: Highline Volleyball VR is a virtual reality sport game. Virtual reality allows it to be ultra-immersive and bring interactions that will allow you to also improve your volleyball skills. We designed Highline Volleyball so that it can be played by beginners or pros and in any kind of VR configurations (seated, standing, room scale). Play volleyball and discover 4 totally different environments and ambiences like for example the Sunny Beach Resort, or the Olympic Stadium. Choose your favourite time of day for playing (Morning, Afternoon, Sunset, Night) Explore and interact with the environments
Review: ‘Highline Volleyball VR’ is of course a VR beach volleyball game in which you get to play a 2 VS 2 match in one of 3 environments. While the two beach environments look good the stadium environment isn’t worth mentioning, oh, and you can also play in different light settings like morning, afternoon, sunset & night. There are no multiplayer options here, in fact, there isn’t much in the way of content at all! But surely this game is all about the gameplay right? The excitement of the game, smashing balls into the opponent’s sand! Well…no.
Right from the off the game gets its own rules wrong and that is just the start of your issues. This isn’t a volleyball simulation, it never was going to be, it’s more a mini-game in which you have to jump and slam the ball to score points and when the AI decided to score they will because this game has no blocking at all! If this game was a quarter of its current £19.49 price maybe it would be worth a go, but even then you will be hard-pressed to enjoy this. The core of this game feels so broken and will never be worth the full asking price, not unless multiplayer was added. Until it gets some vast improvements this game is best off left well alone.
