Review: I have to give credit where it is due and give credit to ‘Hide & Spook: The Haunted Alchemist’ for a unique VR game that makes great use of the technology. But I must also start this review with a warning. You will need a SERIOUS amount of playroom for this game to work. At least 5m sq would be my own recommendation and most people are going to have that amount of room at home. But this is a genius party game. One person is the ghost catcher and the other players who are not in VR become the ghosts and wave the controllers around until they are caught. It’s fun to watch others play it and its great fun to play. But the huge room space needed is going to mean most people will never get the joy of playing it.
