Description: Heavens Tournament is a hardcore realistic fighting Virtual Reality game that will test your power, reflexes, dexterity and skills. So, although it has anime characters, the fighting won’t be anything like the animes that we’re used to watch. You will actually have to keep your guard up, dodge, hit hard and make smart decisions, just like in a real fight with combat realism being the main philosophy, that’s one of the reasons that there isn’t TouchPad locomotion, because footwork is extremely important in a fight, due to that, Room Setup is necessary to play this game. Wanna hurt the opponent? Then swing your arms like you would in a real fight. And do expect to feel your arms heavy and lungs burning a little while playing this game.
Review: While ‘Heavens Tournament’ tries to be a VR Beat ’em-up it doesn’t quite pull it off and instead becomes a lame punch-fest that doesn’t even support additional trackers for kicking. In fact, the whole game is a bit of a mess from the weird pastel colours to the cool animation, it looks unfinished and very much an indie developed game. I would have been willing to look past that if the action was OK, which sadly it isn’t. The AI is boring, the controls feel lame and the feedback is non-existent. I can think of far better things to spend your £5.79, one of those if a big-mac and fries as it will being you much more happiness.
