Review: If you happen to be a Hatsune Miku fan you are in luck, because yet again we have a music number, but this time we are more a watcher than a player, but not like you might expect. This time it seems you transported into one of Miku’s concerts, filled with thousands of screaming fans. Then Miku will do her thing and you basically have to dance along with the music. Not so much a music rhythm game, more a concert dancing timing game. Yes, you’ll be waving those move controllers in the air like you just don’t care!

The more you get into the music and perform the correct concert dance moves (not the moves of Miku) it will make the stage come alive and theoretically make the concert an even more enjoyable experience. Each Stage plays a setlist of three songs, and you’ll have the option to choose between 2 songs for each set. Then, if you are really good and really get into the concert atmosphere you will end up being reserved a special solo performance by Miku, just what every fan dreams of.

Could Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live really be that much fun and all for free? …Well…no. You see, each concert costs £12 ($15) consisting of only a couple of songs and that is not acceptable at all. Even the “Season Pass” is featuring several future updates is £33 ($40). While this is a fun game for sure, it is definitely overpriced to the point that many fans of Miku might have to think twice about buying it. Get this for 1/4th of its current price, then and only then might you get real value for money.
