It’s a super kawaii candy adventure that brings a new twist to an old puzzle classic. Use your puzzle-solving power to bump colorful gummies around the game board and win your way through a 3D world inspired by the popular classic, Sokoban. Can you solve the puzzle before you run out of moves? Will Kon-kon ever get to eat all of the yummy candy he collects? The world may never know…but you will if you play Gumi noYumi!
Review: Gameplay wise you will quickly work out what to do and how best to get 3 stars on every level. But that is the problem, it all feels a little samey. While the level puzzles to get harder and harder it’s all very much the same thing as every other level. If you loved games like Sokoban, this will be 2nd nature to you. Most of us will find this game fun for 5mins then stop playing it, never to play it again, which is a shame.
It looks great and has that cute Japanese cartoon style. But being cute is not enough in the world of VR, you need immersion and this game sadly lacks it. But if you love push-block style puzzle games this will keep you amused for hours on end as you try and complete that level using less and less moves.
