Description: A mixed bag of minigames to rid you of your boredom. Fly a plane, blow some feathers, or become a plumber. In the Pipe Plumber minigame, you must guide a donut wand around a snaking path of pipes from one silo to the other without touching any of the pipes or the silos themselves. This game encourages the use of your whole room/play space to solve these puzzles. This active use of the 3 Dimensional space around you truly immerses the player into the strange and chaotic world that is Grottonnia. Do you believe you are dexterous and patient, well try this game and find out.

Review: There have been quite a few of these hot wire buzzing games released in VR, but I really do think ‘Grottonnia’ might be the worst of them. The idea is you guide your hoop across a network of pipes until you get from point A to B without touching it. But you will need a room-scale space of at least 3M X 3M (maybe even bigger) to do this. But that is not the bad part! The worse part has to be the quite frankly stupid menu system. So you have buttons to select the level then you have to lean over those buttons and stick your head into a dome without touching those said buttons! £3.99 might not get you much these days, but the very least that I would expect is a game I can actually play! Sadly you don’t even get that unless you have a large dedicated VR space.
