Review: ‘Groove Gunner’ is a music rhythm game that doesn’t bring anything new to the table, but does at least get the core gameplay correct. You will be blocking balls and shooting targets here with the classic style of two main colours of bats and guns, then like-wise on the beat hits coming towards you. I have to give it to the game it is fun to play with the beat-mapping being on-point, but it is the range of songs on offer here that will kill it for most, but it does have a song editor to make your own beat maps which is a nice touch. I think this is maybe a little over-priced so do wait for a small sale before giving this a chance. Sure, there is nothing original here, but it does what it needs to do and that means its fun to play at the very least.
