Review: Google Photos is one of those apps that can do a million things more than most people will ever realise or use and indeed that can be said about its use within VR. Being able to see your own 360 content from not just the Cardboard Camera app, but also any 360 cameras (video and stills) that you share within its storage. While I won’t go into all the things this amazing app can do I will praise Google for keeping it free and making it so user-friendly, heck, even your gran should be able to view her own photos! It works great with the Google Daydream headset and the viewing menu is nicely presented. I wish the content went around you is a 360 dome rather than a virtual wall, but either way, it works and is simple to use, especially when using the Google Daydream controller.
