Description: Google Earth VR lets you explore the world from totally new perspectives in virtual reality. Stroll the streets of Tokyo, soar over the Grand Canyon, or walk around the Eiffel Tower. This virtual reality app lets you see the world’s cities, landmarks, and natural wonders. You can fly over a city, stand at the top of the highest peaks, and even soar into space. Earth VR comes with cinematic tours and hand-picked destinations that send you to the Amazon River, the Manhattan skyline, the Grand Canyon, the Swiss Alps, and more.
Review: If there is one app I have played more than most it is Google Earth VR. It’s not just a tool for viewing the Earth, it is about discovery. But yet it is also educational, relaxing, explorational and even an odd adventure all rolled into one. But yet, there is no gameplay. This is one of those apps that makes it worth owning a VR system for. When you look down on a 3D city, even if it is your own, it fills you with a god-like presence as if you are overlooking the world at that exact time and date. If you haven’t tried this in VR yet you really should. Google Earth VR for me is the pinnacle of what a VR experience should be like and with street view now its even better.
