Description: Are you ready to rock!? Boss Music Games and VYERSOFT Corp present God of Riffs: an epic, adrenaline pumping, heavy metal VR rhythm game that’s like a hard rock album cover come to life!
Review: ‘God of Riffs’ is a rock-themed music and rhythm game that does get a few things right. For a start, it is fun to play with the beat mapping pretty much on point, but the collision detection could do with some work (or maybe my gameplay does). There are 4 songs, 2 difficulties at the moment and a handful of areas. While some of the environments are a little boring (like the dungeon) others like the Forest level look great and really add to the game. Taking into account that this is just early access I am happy to give it the thumbs up. It has the right price for what you get and it has plenty of room to grow. This could well be one of those games you keep in your library and crack out now and again at a VR party or something, just to give us old-school rockers something to play.
