Description: God of Arrows is a Virtual Reality tower defence game where you take the role of an archer defending a castle against the forces of evil with some help from the gods. Play solo to fight through endless waves of monsters and compete in an online leaderboard to showcase your skills as the best defender.
The game is currently only available for the HTC: VIVE. And will be released as an early access game with tons of features still in development. In God of Arrows VR, you take on the role of an archer defending from atop a tower as you fight through incoming waves of skeletons and demons trying to breach your gate. You start with using only the basic arrows available to you and eventually get assisted by the gods with elemental empowered arrows (Fire / Ice / Thunder / Arcane). Each of those arrows has particular abilities that will help you take down even the strongest of foes.
Review: I’m a sucker for a good bow and arrow game and God Of Arrows VR is one of the better ones. With fun characters and some OK animations, it looks pretty good and the archery mechanics feels pretty much spot on to me. But this games biggest issue is that there are better games these days for the same price that also offer multiplayer support. Don’t get me wrong here, I do think this game is easily worth the £2.09 asking price, but I am aware that other games are better than this one. Worth a look I suppose, just play other games in the same genre first. Or maybe, don’t play them and then you won’t know what you are missing out on!
