Description: Now you can finally experience the thrilling parts becoming a game developer! GameDevVR is a goofy and fun virtual reality simulation based in the 90’s where you become a VR game developer. This game won’t restrict you, this means you can do whatever you want making the player feel free and letting them experience GameDevVR at their own pace. Eating, drinking and sleeping is a big part of this simulation so you will need to balance this with the rest of your tasks.
Review: I get the impression that ‘GameDevVR’ is the sort of game you end up with when you can’t decide which sort of game to make. You shouldn’t really see ‘GameDevVR’ as a game, more a motivational tool for new VR developers, to keep going, to keep on making your game when all you want to do is procrastinate. Its a series fo mini-games all based around the main story of the game which is trying to finish a VR game. Its a sort of meme-review of the life of an indie VR developer. It’s very basic in every way, but it did at least make me laugh a few times. I can’t say it is worth the £4.50 asking price, but it is worth a look for a few smiles if you see it in a sale. Sometimes you just need something for a few laughs and that is what this “game” offers.
