Description: Gadgeteer is a physics-based VR puzzle game where you build chain reaction machines to solve fun, intricate puzzles. Your machines will use gadgets to launch, bump, twist, and turn—creating chain reactions that may even end up tearing apart the fabric of space-time.
Review: Gadgeteer is essentially a virtual Rube Goldberg machine. This means a machine that is designed to do something easy, only perform it in an overly complex way. That is where this games 60+ puzzles come into it. I want to get one thing out of the way, this game is not easy and will make you feel frustrated very early on, but that also means it offers a real challenge, even in the earlier levels. It looks good, is fun to play and offers more than enough content to keep you going long enough to justify its own asking price. While I personally didn’t get far (level 31) I put this down to not taking the time to sit back and really work it out. So do make sure you have plenty of time to play this game as quick blasts will only leave your temper growing just as quick.
