Review: It has to be said ‘Fruit Ninja VR’ was a surprise hit and a great take on the original smartphone game. This is pretty much the same game in which you will be slicing fruit, but this time you get a bow and arrow as well as a few other weapons to slice your fruit with. The same rules apply like avoiding bombs and a handful of powerups, but you do have to start off with the bow and arrow. If you liked the first game you should in theory enjoy this one, but I just don’t feel it is as much fun as its original counterpart. There is still a fun, good looking game here and if you enjoy a good score chase you will easily get your money’s worth, but I feel they overcomplicated the game in ways they didn’t need to.
