Description: A destruction and mayhem sandbox playground. Become immersed in the deep story that unfolds before you, with plenty of lore and secrets to uncover along the way. Play around with ragdoll enemies (including unique bosses) and cause chaos wherever you go.
Review: Put simply ‘Frenzy VR’ is trying to be the cheap version of Boneworks. It’s a mostly sandbox-style game in which you kind of make your own fun up with the tools and locations on offer. Sure, there are 5 story-based levels, but give it 20 mins and you will fly through them so they really ain’t worth talking about. While the graphics won’t blow you away here you can indeed have some fun destroying the levels and killing the rag-doll-style people in various ways. While the psychics won’t blow you away they can still result in a few funny deaths and kills. Sadly the AI in the game is not up to much and most of them just stand there and let you kill them, but this may be intentional.
I’m really not a fan of this sort of game at all as I really do prefer levels and challenges to finish, mostly because I lack the imagination to make my own up. The good news is there are enough guns, locations and options here to get your money’s worth if you are willing to knuckle down into the game. Fans of Bone works are sure to enjoy this, but personally, I felt the lack of challenges and missions was its downfall.
