Review: I have to say ‘Free Company VR’ has been a hard game to review. On the one hand, this is a pretty great-looking action/strategy game with a MASSIVE selection of weapons to not only arm your troops with but also use yourself. But then, when it comes to the combat I do feel it falls a little short on…well…action! It just doesn’t quite feel good enough in the heat of the battle and sadly that break immersion. If you try and rush through this game you will never get your money’s worth, this is a game that requires some deep thinking and planning. Replaying battles over and over with different combinations of troops. You can get your money’s worth here, but I know most people won’t bother. This is a great game that just needs a little more work on the actual gameplay side of things.
