Review: When it comes to animation apps in VR the big one is of course Mindshow. OK, so Flipside Studio isn’t as polished as that, but there is still a lot to love here like all the great characters there are to choose from and the 3D animations recording meaning you can move the camera around after you have finished recording. But there are also things I don’t like, the text tutorial being one of them. At the end of the day, this is free and it’s well worth messing around with even if you don’t have a use for it. These animation tools are a great use of VR and perfect for anyone wanting to make their own short films and Youtube vids.
