Review: I’ve played a few of these “superhero simulators” now, but sadly ‘First Impact: Rise of a Hero’ isn’t one of the better ones. For me it just wasn’t…super enough. You can fly, but it is more of a slow forward moving hover and you can shoot flames from your hands, but it never looks great. I did enjoy the abstract cartoon city which is well made, but it is the animations that suffer the most with nothing feeling finished. Its got some good ideas and with some updates, it might be well worth a download, but I can’t see those updates happening any time soon. If you can grab it for a few quid you might enjoy it, but otherwise, it is one to avoid.
