Review: “Never had the chance to see fireflies? Now you can see them in various environments for free!” Well, that is what the sales pitch is anyway. Having never seen any real fireflies I was pretty excited to review this app. With 5 different environments to see them in including forest, waterfall, campsite, stone hedge and dessert each environment is unique.

OK, so this is not going to blow anyone away, but it has to be said that it is quite relaxing. Just listening to the sounds around you as you watch the fireflies dance around is very peaceful and surreal. And it doesn’t look too bad with some good lighting and background scenery. For those of us who like to relax in virtual reality, this app is perfect to unwind. Kind of relaxing, but also kind of boring at the same time.
