Establish a travel strategy in hyperspace, schedule refuelling points on the galactic map, scan and extract resources via the holoviewer, monitor the autonomy level of the spaceship in order to maintain the oxygen recycling system on and repair the extravehicular probes can put your body and your mind to a severe test. If you experience any of these symptoms (high sensitivity to the autonomy alarm, pain in your arms when you scan a planet, annoyance when you miss a deployment to extract resources or shame when you break down) please only blame yourself (you are just bad).
Review: Far Beyond: A space odyssey is a great looking game that has some big ideas within it. Sadly it is deeply complicated, often buggy and doesn’t seem to make much sense thanks to the poor voice of the robot instructing you on what to do! But like I said, it has some big ideas and the scale of this game is very large indeed to accommodate those big ideas. Sadly it does get boring sooner rather than later as you realise its more of a space repair job simulator than a large open space strategy game that it is also trying to be. While the bad points are a shame I would still suggest giving it a go if you have a few hours spare to get into it because believe me, it will take that long just to go through the tutorial!
