Escape the Gray is a VR exclusive room-escape game. Each room’s puzzle is unique. The number of rooms and their order is randomized with each playthrough. Get to the end? Play again and find something new. Stuck in a room? Play Drop the Candle*, our free mini-game when you get frustrated. Or just throw stuff and make a mess. That might help.
Review: I’m not going to hear anyone shouting out “YAY! Another room escape game in VR” when they first see Escape The Gray, but that is what it is. While some of the puzzles were interesting it was pretty much the same thing seen in many other escape room games. Only I found this one much more basic with little glitches and annoyances from start to finish. But then again it doesn’t cost much, but even £1.59 might be asking too much for this game. OK, that’s not fair, it’s not that terrible, at least it is playable, but do be aware you don’t get much more than your money’s worth here and you are not paying a lot of money.
