Review: It has felt as if Eagle Flight has been in development forever, but here we are, now on the PSVR. Played around a post-apocalyptic Paris setting you have to do the things that Eagles do, so flying and hunting is the name of the game. Imagine a WW2 plane shooter game and you will have a good idea of what this game is like, only with birds instead of planes. Featuring 23 missions in the story mode (With 129 stars to earn), with 17 expert challenges and even an online multiplayer mode, there is a surprising amount to do here even with the main story mode not being that long at all. With stunning graphics and a beautifully simple flight mode, this is one game the PSVR can handle just as well as the Oculus version.
Without VR this would have been a pretty average game, but inside VR it is as close to becoming a real bird as you are ever going to get without being reincarnated as one. While the playing area isn’t that big there are lots to see and do, then the multiplay mode expands the gameplay further. This is a fast-paced game that offers something truly wonderful. With more games of this quality for VR it is sure to be the success we hope for.
