Description: DUO is an arcade game designed from the ground up for the virtual reality. Now you can immerse yourself in a virtual world with a classic retro game. Use your paddles to hit the ball and smash the bricks. Pass through the funny and challenging levels. Try not to miss the ball and remember that time is running out. Catch the green power-ups! You might get more points or additional balls. Avoid the red ones! They will shrink your shields or switch off the light.
With 90 levels and various power-ups (both good and bad), this game is no walk in the park and the fast pace will soon get you sweating. While this is indeed a brick breaker at heart there is a lot more to it than that. With some great sound effects and some banging tunes to keep you amused along the way, this game can keep you in VR for more than a few hours easily.
DUO is a classic remix of the old brick breaker games and while overall it does a good job of keeping you amused for a while, it is far from perfect. The confined playing area never gives you time to fully strategize where and what ball to hit first meaning you will never feel in control of the game, rather a watcher who will get to hit the ball now and again if you get lucky. Personally, I like these VR Arkanoid games and if you are the same maybe consider giving DUO a bash. But do try other games of the same genre first.
