Review: Let’s get the good news out of the way first. ‘Drums Rock’ is one of the best VR drumming games I have played in a long while and the beat mapping is mostly on point. Yes, this is yet another VR drumming game in which you hit the right drum or cymbal at the right time (which is when a small demon flies towards you). The main mode (Campaign) sees you battle drum demons over several stages and challenge mode sees you trying to beat friends and world scores across all 19 songs.
While the game looks great and there is enough content here to justify the asking price the hit tracking was a little off at times and the beat-mapping can also be a little hit and miss as well (no pun intended). But overall there is a lot to love here and there are plenty more songs coming in the near future apparently. Those of us looking for a drum rhythm game will be pretty happy with this one, I just hope the updates keep coming and an online battle mode would be nice as well. Its well worth the money and dare I say it is a good workout as well.
