Description: The Drum Smith is a first person VR drum simulator. Have you ever wanted to feel what it is like to be a drummer? Now you have a chance to be one! You can play the drums without music or with it – just choose the melody and beat the drum when it is indicated. Try different difficulty modes to get your skills on a whole new level!
Review: Sadly Drum Smith isn’t the Drum Hero game we have all been waiting for. While it does looks OK and the music stream graphics are also pretty good, its lack of “drum” when you actually hit the drum is deeply unsatisfying, but I do feel it is slightly limited by what the Gear VR motion controller can do which is sadly not a lot. You see, you need those fully tracked motion controllers so you can feel that satisfying WHACK of a drum and that it sounds just like you have done just that! On a different system, this game might not have been so bad, but its best avoided on a Gear VR.
