Review: DRIFT is not just a great game in its own right, it’s also a great use of VR. Its fast, strategic, crazy, action-packed, scary, heart pounding, at one point or another this game is all and everything. Don’t let the minimalistic graphics put you off buying it because you won’t get time to look at them as you zip past. I will say the Daydream version is nowhere near being the best of them and even the Gear VR version is leaps and bounds better when it comes to smoothness and the level of control you get. Also its the most expensive version, even more, expensive than that of the Oculus Rift! So while I will suggest waiting for a sale price before buying it, when you do get it I can promise you it will be loads of fun and you won’t want to stop playing it. DRIFT really is a trend-setting game that I feel lets itself down on the Daydream platform.
