Description: You have been selected to appear on the biggest show in the galaxy: Doctor Kvorak’s Obliteration Game. Controlling three talented contestants, you must pit your wits against Doctor Kvorak himself, an immortal trickster who will challenge you every step of the way. If you win, your success will be celebrated throughout the galaxy. Such skill, such fortune, such heroism! But all is not what it seems, for if you lose then you risk the very annihilation of your world. Liberate or Obliterate – which will you choose?
Review: Doctor Kvorak’s Obliteration Game is a weir gameshow style puzzle game in which you take control of one of those said contestants and you get to decide the fate of several planets. You can save them, or destroy them! You do this by trying to find ten pieces of the planet and if you get all ten you get to save it! But missing just one and it will be destroyed. It’s platformer as well so you do feel surprisingly free to explore, despite the games linear progression. In VR the game is played sort of top-down and it probably a bit easier than on a screen, but it doesn’t really benefit from it sadly. I will say £14.99 is a little too much, but I would be willing to pay half of that at least. But do keep an eye out for this in a sale as it is a hidden little cracker and I for one loved it.
