Review: Those of us hoping for another VR underwater experience of the same quality that Ocean Rift offers will be bitterly disappointed here. ‘Dive with Sylvia VR’ is a 5-minute long on-rails experience that does have a little bit of interactivity, but certainly not much. The visuals are not too bad and I enjoyed seeing the hammerhead shark come up close to me, but there was a general lack of other sea-life that other apps offer. If this was free I would have suggested that it was worth a look, but for £3.99 there just isn’t enough here to justify playing it though more than once (apparently it is random each time, but I didn’t see much difference at all with 3 playthroughs). So do consider picking this up, but try and get it for pennies rather than pounds.
