Description: Dick Wilde has a whole host of crazy custom weapons at your disposal: Electric bow and arrows, nail guns, revolvers, paintball guns, grenade and missile launchers, harpoon/saw blade rifle, shotgun & shields. Have a hoedown by sharing the headset amongst friends and compete for the high score! How many waves against the critter-horde can you survive!?
Played with the Playstation Move controllers it is all pretty easy to get used to with little more interaction needed than aiming and shooting. Be warned this is a challenging game and even on the easiest of levels things soon get out of hand and you will find yourself shooting at anything that moves. There is also a multiplayer mode that allows for a party style of gameplay, passing it between friends which do give the game some much-needed longevity.
While it has to be said the PSVR version of Dick Wilde is the most expensive it is also the one that feels more “at home” than the others. With its fast action and crazy gameplay, the Move controllers seem much better suited to it and in return, the game flowed better and felt slightly more immersive. While I would still suggest waiting for the price to come down a bit it is a fantastic little shooter that will keep the console action gamers very happy(if only for short bursts of time).
