Description: Déraciné is a brand new story adventure by iconic developers FromSoftware, available exclusively on PlayStation VR. As a faerie in a secluded boarding school, you must prove your existence and build a unique bond with the students, as the world around you is uncovered through discovery and exploration. As the mystery of the story unfolds, you will travel through time and change the fates of the pupils. Become immersed as a faerie being, as you are guided through an intensely emotional story. Feeling a sense of presence is crucial to this adventure, only possible in PS VR. Featuring a unique and sorrowful story, Déraciné will take you through a vast range of emotions, from isolation and sorrow to happiness and gratification. Investigate, collect clues, and interact with the physical world to solve puzzles and complete tasks. This will help you to establish a connection with living entities in the school, with a lasting impact.
Review: If you enjoy slow-paced, beautiful looking adventure games Déraciné is the one for you. It really is gorgeous from start to finish. But beauty really is skin deep and underneath this is a basic, shallow game that does hold your interest for several hours, but you soon realise it is not going to tax your brain or your gameplay skills. The good news is Déraciné does try to bring something different to the VR table and for that, I am happy to recommend it. If you fancy playing something different, something slower-paced this is well worth a look and boy is that look worth seeing (especially on the PS PRO).
