Description: A dark force has taken over the underworld in the upcoming RPG dungeon crawler, Demeo, and it’s a world you’re not likely to survive alone. Terrors and treasure await as you and your friends brave the corrupted catacombs of Demeo together. Choose your champions wisely in this cooperative game, for once you have ventured below you must conquer the nether floors or perish in the attempt. The ultimate outcome depends on your choices, and whether the dice are rolled in your favour…
Review: I feel it is important to tell you that I am not a personal fan of tabletop D&D style games. But even I see the potential in Demeo. This is of course a top-down table top style adventure game with dice and battle cards, all you need for a great adventure which you can play on your own or with friends. The detail in the animations and little figures is amazing and at times you can easily become immersed in this game. But for now, there is a massive lack of content given the £23.79 with only 3 levels and 1 boss fight. If you play this with friends you could eke out a little more gameplay but still not enough to justify the full asking price. I do hope this game grows into something special for the D&D fans as it has come at the right time when people can’t always meet up. So for now I recommend it with caution, but it is probably best to wait a while and see if it grows.
